An Autobiography? A Biography of Mom or of…?

You Can Do a Biography or Autobiography

And It Can Be Affordable

Ever thought about doing a biography? Something to honor and remember a parent or grandparent? A tribute to a colleague from work? Something in recognition of a mentor?

Or, what about an autobiography? The story of your own life—perhaps used as an opportunity to take stock and decide where to go next?

Probably you haven’t considered these things, and that’s likely because biographies and autobiographies of ordinary people just aren’t done—folks who aren’t highly visible politicians or entertainers are left out. That’s a shame because we would all be better off if there were greater recognition of the contributions people who aren’t famous make to family, community, business, and faith.

Fortunately, auto/ biography is more attainable than you might think. With the help of Partners for Writers (PFW) you can easily assemble an interesting, informative study, one that will delight others for generations.

How Auto/Biography Works

1.      First, fill out the form we send in response to your inquiry. It will be important to provide a full explanation of your goal and what background resources are available to you, since it will help in the next stage:  estimating the project. Please give this part careful thought.
2.      We at PFW will respond with a preliminary estimate of what will be needed to complete your proposal. For example, we’ll describe what’s involved in gathering information, in developing an outline, and in doing the production. This short estimate will be free; if you want more detail, then we’ll negotiate an agreement.

3.      We encourage you to read the “More Information” sections below before sending your inquiry.
